Fill the SodaStream bottle with cold water to the fill line
Attach the carbonation cap securely
Insert the bottle into the machine as instructed by the model
Press the carbonation button or lever in short bursts
Repeat until desired carbonation is reached
Remove the bottle from the machine
Add flavor syrup if desired
Recap the bottle and gently mix
Clean the bottle and machine parts after use
