Open Minecraft
Sign in to your Microsoft account
Make sure you and your friends use the same Minecraft edition
Make sure everyone has the same game version
Add friends through the Friends tab
Set your world to Multiplayer or Friends Only
Enable Multiplayer in world settings
Join a friend’s world from the Friends tab
Invite friends to your world
Use a local network for LAN play if available
Join a server by entering its address
Use Realms for private multiplayer
Check that multiplayer is allowed in account privacy settings
Make sure internet connection is stable
Restart the game if multiplayer does not appear
