Open Facebook and log in
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Open Accounts Center
Select Personal details
Tap Account ownership and control
Choose Deactivation or deletion
Select the Facebook account you want to delete
Tap Delete account
Follow the prompts to confirm
Enter your password if asked
Confirm deletion
Use the Facebook website if needed
Open the menu
Go to Settings and privacy
Open Settings
Select Your Facebook information
Choose Deactivation and deletion
Select Delete account
Continue and confirm
Download your information first if you want to keep your data
Cancel deletion within the recovery period if you change your mind
