Gently pull the zipper slider back and forth
Remove any fabric caught in the teeth
Apply graphite from a pencil to the zipper teeth
Rub a small amount of soap, candle wax, or lip balm on the teeth
Use tweezers to free trapped threads
Align both sides of the zipper before pulling
Hold the fabric near the slider while moving it
Clean dirt or debris from the zipper
Straighten bent zipper teeth with pliers
Replace the zipper slider if it is damaged
