How to Repair a Cracked Tile?

Clean the tile and the surrounding area

Remove dirt, dust, and grease

Dry the surface completely

Assess the crack size and depth

Use tile repair epoxy or filler for small cracks

Mix the repair product according to instructions

Apply the filler into the crack with a putty knife

Smooth the surface level with the tile

Remove excess material before it hardens

Let the repair cure fully

Sand lightly if needed after curing

Match the tile color with touch-up paint or glaze if required

Replace the tile if the crack is large or the tile is loose

Remove grout around the damaged tile

Break and lift out the cracked tile carefully

Clean the adhesive from the substrate

Apply new thin-set mortar

Set the replacement tile in place

Regrout the joints

Wipe away excess grout
