Park the Tacoma on a level surface and turn off the engine
Set the parking brake
Open the hood
Locate the low beam headlight bulb access area behind the headlight assembly
Remove any cover or dust cap if equipped
Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb
Twist the bulb counterclockwise to unlock it
Pull the old bulb straight out
Insert the new bulb into the socket
Twist the bulb clockwise to lock it in place
Reconnect the electrical connector
Reinstall the dust cap or cover if removed
Close the hood
Turn on the headlights to test the new low beam bulb
