Sign in to your TurboTax account
Open the tax return you want to restart
Select Tax Tools
Choose Clear & Start Over
Confirm that you want to delete the current return
Start a new return from the beginning
If using the mobile app, sign out and sign back in if Clear & Start Over is not available
If you already filed, create a new return only if you need to amend or file for a different tax year
