Open Start
Type Control Panel and open it
Go to System and Security
Select BitLocker Drive Encryption
Find the drive you want to turn off BitLocker for
Click Turn off BitLocker
Confirm by clicking Turn off BitLocker again
Wait for decryption to finish
Open Start
Type Manage BitLocker and open it
Select the drive
Click Turn off BitLocker
Confirm the action
Wait for decryption to complete
Open Settings
Go to Privacy & security
Select Device encryption or BitLocker settings
Turn off encryption for the drive
Confirm the change
Open Command Prompt as administrator
Type manage-bde -off C:
Press Enter
Replace C: with the correct drive letter if needed
Wait for decryption to complete
Open PowerShell as administrator
Type Disable-BitLocker -MountPoint “C:”
Press Enter
Replace C: with the correct drive letter if needed
Wait for decryption to complete
