Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the device’s Ethernet port
Plug the other end into a router, modem, or network switch
Make sure both ends click into place
Check that the connection lights turn on
Use the cable to connect a computer, printer, gaming console, or other network device
Open the device’s network settings if needed
Select the wired Ethernet connection if it does not connect automatically
Disconnect by pressing the clip on the connector and pulling it out gently
