Open VLC Media Player
Click Media
Select Open File and choose your video
Go to View
Click Advanced Controls
Play the video and move to the point where you want to start trimming
Click the Record button to begin recording
Let the video play until the desired end point
Click the Record button again to stop recording
Find the trimmed clip in your Videos folder or default save location
Use Convert/Save if you need to save the trimmed section in a different format
