Turn off light
On your phone, go to Settings

Turn off Show notifications
To hide message previews, go to WhatsApp Settings
Tap Privacy
Turn off Show previews if available
To hide notifications on the lock screen, go to phone Settings
Tap Notifications
Tap Lock screen notifications
Select Hide content or Don’t show notifications
To mute a chat, open the chat
Tap the contact or group name
Tap Mute notifications
Choose a duration
To archive a chat, long-press the chat
Tap Archive
To use Do Not Disturb, open phone Settings
Tap Sound or Notifications
Turn on Do Not Disturb
