Sign in to Find My Mobile on a computer or another device
Select your Samsung phone from the device list
Choose the Erase data option
Confirm the reset
Use Google Find My Device if the phone is linked to your Google account
Sign in to Find My Device on a computer or another device
Select your Samsung phone from the device list
Choose Erase device
Confirm the reset
Use Recovery Mode for a factory reset
Power off the phone
Press and hold the correct button combination for your model to enter Recovery Mode
Select Wipe data/factory reset
Confirm the reset
Select Reboot system now
Use Samsung Smart Switch on a computer if available for backup and recovery options
Connect the phone to the computer
Check for device recovery or emergency software options
If Factory Reset Protection is enabled, enter the previously synced Google account after reset
If you do not remember the account, contact Samsung Support or your carrier
If the device is locked by a screen lock and no account access is available, visit an authorized service center
