Open the Alexa app on your phone
Sign in to your Amazon account
Tap Devices
Tap the plus icon
Tap Add Device
Select Amazon Echo
Select Echo Dot
Follow the on-screen instructions
Connect the Echo Dot to your Wi-Fi network
Wait for setup to complete
Test the connection by saying “Alexa”
