Open Facebook and log in
Click your profile picture or menu
Go to Settings and privacy
Click Settings
Select Accounts Center
Click Personal details
Click Account ownership and control
Select Deactivation or deletion
Choose the Facebook account you want to disable
Select Deactivate account
Click Continue
Follow the on-screen instructions
Confirm your password if prompted
Finish by confirming deactivation
