Open the antivirus application
Go to Settings or Protection
Find Real-time protection or Shields
Turn off the protection toggle
Confirm any prompt if asked
Disable scheduled scans if needed
Disable firewall or web protection only if required
Save changes
Re-enable the antivirus after the task is done
