How to Save Docs on Google Docs?

Open Google Docs

Sign in to your Google account

Create a new document or open an existing one

Type your content

Wait for Google Docs to save automatically

Check the status near the top of the document for “Saving…” or “Saved to Drive”

Rename the document by clicking the title at the top

Access the saved document later from Google Drive

Download a copy if needed by going to File > Download

Make sure you have an internet connection for automatic saving
