Check that your iPhone supports Apple Pay and that Apple Pay is available in your region
Add a card to Wallet
Open Wallet
Tap Add Card
Follow the on-screen steps to verify your card
Place the device near the contactless reader when paying
Double-click the side button on iPhone to open Apple Pay
Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode
Hold the top of iPhone near the contactless reader until you see “Done” and a checkmark
For iPhone with Face ID: double-click the side button, authenticate, then hold near the reader
For iPhone with Touch ID: double-click the home button, authenticate, then hold near the reader
For Apple Watch: double-click the side button, review the payment card, then hold the watch near the reader
For Mac: select Apple Pay at checkout (if supported), confirm payment on your iPhone or Apple Watch
For online or in-app purchases: select Apple Pay at checkout and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode
To switch cards: choose a different card in Apple Pay before confirming payment
To manage cards: open Wallet, select the card, then use settings to update or remove it
