Locate the tire identification number on the sidewall
Find the DOT code
Read the last four digits of the DOT code
Use the first two digits of the last four for the week of manufacture
Use the last two digits of the last four for the year of manufacture
Example: 2319 means the 23rd week of 2019
Check both sidewalls if the DOT code is not visible on one side
Replace tires based on age as well as tread condition
Avoid using tires with missing or unreadable date codes
