Locate the seam around the edge of the Ford key fob
Insert a small flathead screwdriver or coin into the seam
Gently twist to separate the two halves
Work around the edge if needed until the fob opens
Remove the battery cover or internal cover if present
Replace the battery or access the inside components as needed
Snap the halves back together firmly when finished
