Check the care label
Turn the sweater inside out
Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water
Add a small amount of wool-safe detergent
Submerge the sweater gently
Soak for 10 to 15 minutes
Swish lightly without rubbing or twisting
Drain the soapy water
Rinse with cool water until clean
Press out excess water gently
Roll the sweater in a clean towel
Reshape the sweater while damp
Lay it flat to dry on a dry towel
Keep it away from direct heat and sunlight
Store it folded when fully dry
