Back up your files
Power off the Chromebook
Press and hold Esc + Refresh, then press Power
When the recovery screen appears, press Ctrl + D
Press Enter to turn OS verification off
Wait for the Chromebook to restart and transition to Developer Mode
Follow the on-screen setup prompts
Sign in again after the device finishes resetting
To disable Developer Mode later, repeat the recovery screen steps and choose to turn OS verification on
