Look for the IPv4 Address line
On Mac, open System Settings
Go to Network
Select your active connection
Find the IP address listed there
On Linux, open Terminal
Type `ip addr` and press Enter
Look for the `inet` address on your active network interface
On any computer, open a web browser
Search for “what is my IP”
Check the public IP shown in the search results
On Windows, go to Settings
Select Network & Internet
Open your connection details
Find the IP address
On Mac, open Terminal
Type `ifconfig` and press Enter
Look for the `inet` address under the active interface
