Choose the Mac version
Sign in or create a Microsoft account
Buy Minecraft if you do not already own it
Download the Minecraft Installer for Mac
Open the downloaded .dmg file
Drag Minecraft to the Applications folder
Open Minecraft from Applications
Sign in with your Microsoft account
Download any required game files
Start playing Minecraft
