Open the tape gun’s loading compartment
Place the tape roll on the spindle with the sticky side facing the correct direction
Pull the tape end off the roll
Thread the tape under the guide roller
Pull the tape across the applicator plate
Feed the tape between the cutting blade and the plate
Close the loading compartment
Pull a short length of tape to test the feed
Adjust the tape direction if it dispenses backward or sticks incorrectly
