Stop crocheting at the end of a stitch or row
Leave a yarn tail from the old yarn
Cut the old yarn if needed
Place the new yarn on your hook
Pull the new yarn through the last loop on the hook
Tighten the new yarn gently
Continue crocheting with the new yarn
Weave in the yarn ends when finished
