Wash and peel the apples
Remove the core and seeds
Cut the apples into small pieces
Place the apple pieces in a steamer or saucepan with a little water
Cook until the apples are soft
Drain any excess water if needed
Mash the cooked apples with a fork or blend until smooth
Add a little boiled, cooled water, breast milk, or formula to thin if needed
Let the puree cool completely before serving
Check the temperature before feeding
Store any leftovers in a clean, covered container in the refrigerator
Use within 24 to 48 hours or freeze in small portions
