Gather clear glass bottles, colored sand, funnels, paper cones, skewers, and a tray
Dry the sand completely before use
Choose multiple sand colors
Place the bottle on a stable surface
Insert a funnel or paper cone into the bottle opening
Pour a small amount of one sand color into the bottle
Tap the bottle gently to level the sand
Use a skewer to shape or compact the layer if needed
Add the next color slowly
Repeat with alternating colors to build layers
Tilt the bottle slightly when pouring to create slanted patterns
Use different amounts of sand for varied layer thickness
Avoid shaking the bottle too much
Fill near the top if desired, leaving a small gap
Seal the bottle tightly with a cork or cap
Clean the outside of the bottle
Display the finished sand art upright
