Use a console version of Minecraft that supports split screen
Connect a second controller to the console
Sign in the second player with a separate account or guest profile
Start Minecraft and load or create a world
Make sure the game is set to local multiplayer or split screen mode
Press the controller button prompt shown on screen for the second player to join
Adjust the screen layout if needed in the console settings
Play together on the same console and TV
