Disconnect the negative battery terminal
Choose a mounting location for the subwoofer box
Run the power wire from the battery to the amplifier location
Install an inline fuse close to the battery
Ground the amplifier to bare metal on the car chassis
Run the RCA cables from the head unit to the amplifier
Run the remote turn-on wire from the head unit to the amplifier
Connect speaker wire from the amplifier to the subwoofer box
Connect the amplifier to the subwoofer according to the sub’s impedance and wiring configuration
Secure all wiring away from moving parts and sharp edges
Reconnect the battery terminal
Test the system and adjust amplifier settings
Secure the subwoofer box in place
