Wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated area
Scrape off excess glue gently with a plastic scraper or razor blade held at a low angle
Soak a cloth in acetone or nail polish remover with acetone
Apply the cloth to the glue for a few minutes
Wipe or rub the softened glue away
Repeat as needed until the glue loosens
Use isopropyl alcohol if acetone is not suitable
Try warm soapy water for small or fresh spots
Use white vinegar on the glue and let it sit briefly
Use a commercial adhesive remover made for super glue
Clean the metal with soap and water after removal
Dry the metal completely
Test any solvent on a small hidden area first
