Open Microsoft Authenticator on your phone
Back up your accounts if needed
Remove the account you want to reset
Uninstall Microsoft Authenticator from your device
Reinstall Microsoft Authenticator from the app store
Open the app and sign in to restore any backup
Add your accounts again by scanning the QR code or entering setup details
If required, sign in to your Microsoft account and re-register two-factor authentication
Update your recovery methods for each account if prompted
