Place a cherry stem in your mouth
Use your tongue to center the stem
Wet the stem thoroughly with saliva
Press the stem against the roof of your mouth
Curl the tip of your tongue around one end of the stem
Pinch the stem lightly between your tongue and the roof of your mouth
Twist the stem with your tongue until it forms a knot
Keep the knot tight with your tongue
Pull the knotted stem out carefully
Practice with soft, flexible stems first
