Cut the elastic cord to the desired length
Slide on the beads or bracelet pieces
Check the fit around your wrist before tying
Cross the two ends of the elastic
Tie a square knot
Tie a second square knot over the first
Pull the knot tight
Add a drop of clear jewelry glue if desired
Trim the excess elastic close to the knot
Tuck the knot into a bead or hidden section if possible
