Overlap the two ends of the stretchy cord by about 2 to 3 inches
Tie a simple overhand knot with both ends together
Tie a second overhand knot on top of the first to make a double knot
Pull both ends firmly to tighten the knot
Slide the knot into a bead or hide it inside the bracelet if possible
Trim the excess cord close to the knot
Add a tiny drop of clear jewelry glue to the knot if desired
Let the glue dry completely before wearing the bracelet
