Press the Num Lock key on your keyboard
Use Fn + Num Lock if your keyboard requires it
Use Shift + Num Lock on some keyboards
Open the on-screen keyboard and toggle Num Lock off
Check your laptop’s function key settings if Num Lock does not turn off
Restart the computer if the setting does not change
