Press Shift + ` on a US layout keyboard
Use AltGr + ` or the dedicated dead key on some international layouts
Use the key combo for your layout if ` is shared with another symbol
On Windows, use the on-screen keyboard if your layout does not have a direct tilde key
On Mac, press Option + n, then Space for ~
On Linux, use your keyboard layout’s compose key or dead key sequence
If needed, remap a key to produce ~ in your keyboard settings
Copy and paste ~ if your keyboard layout does not support a direct input method
