File the shiny top layer of the gel polish gently
Soak a cotton ball in acetone
Place the cotton ball on the nail
Wrap each fingertip with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check one nail and gently lift softened gel with a wooden cuticle stick
Rewrap and soak longer if the gel is still firm
Buff away any remaining residue lightly
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or moisturizer
Do not peel or force the gel off
