Connect your iPhone to your Mac with a USB cable
Unlock your iPhone
Tap Trust if prompted on your iPhone
Open the Photos app on your Mac
Select your iPhone under Devices in the Photos app sidebar
Choose the photos you want to import
Click Import Selected or Import All New Photos
Wait for the import to finish
Eject your iPhone safely before disconnecting
Open Image Capture on your Mac
Select your iPhone from the device list
Choose an import destination
Select the photos you want
Click Import or Import All
Use AirDrop on your iPhone
Select the photos in the Photos app on iPhone
Tap Share
Tap AirDrop
Select your Mac
Accept the transfer on your Mac
Use iCloud Photos
Turn on iCloud Photos on your iPhone
Turn on iCloud Photos on your Mac
Open the Photos app on your Mac
Wait for photos to sync automatically
