Connect your iPhone to your Mac with a USB cable
Unlock your iPhone and tap Trust if prompted
Open the Photos app on your Mac
Select your iPhone under Devices or Imports
Choose the photos you want to import
Click Import Selected or Import All New Photos
Use AirDrop on your iPhone and Mac
Select the photos in the Photos app on your iPhone
Tap Share and choose AirDrop
Select your Mac from the AirDrop list
Accept the transfer on your Mac
Use iCloud Photos on both devices
Turn on iCloud Photos in iPhone Settings
Turn on iCloud Photos in the Mac Photos app
Wait for photos to sync automatically
Use Image Capture on your Mac
Connect your iPhone to your Mac
Open Image Capture
Select your iPhone
Choose a destination folder
Click Download
Use Finder if your iPhone appears as a device
Open Finder and select your iPhone
Access the photos or files available for transfer
Drag photos to your Mac if supported
