Gather obsidian blocks
Get a flint and steel
Build a rectangular frame
Make the frame 4 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall
Leave the corners empty
Fill the frame with obsidian
Use the flint and steel on the inside bottom of the frame
Enter the activated portal to travel to the Nether
