Back up any important files to Google Drive, an external drive, or another storage location
Sign out of your Chromebook
Open Settings
Select Advanced
Select Reset settings
Select Powerwash
Select Restart
Confirm by selecting Powerwash
Wait for the Chromebook to reset and restart
Follow the on-screen setup steps after the reset completes
