3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Whisk balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, salt, and black pepper together
Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until emulsified
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed
Store in a sealed container and shake before using
