Open the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Music, or Apple Books app
Tap your profile picture or sign in with your Apple ID
Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code
Use your device camera to scan the card or enter the code manually
Tap Redeem
Wait for the balance to be added to your Apple Account
On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then click Redeem Gift Card
On Windows, open iTunes, go to Account, then choose Redeem
If you have a physical card, gently scratch off the code area first
If the code is not working, check that it was entered correctly and that the card is valid for your region
