Wash your hands thoroughly before handling bottles
Disassemble the bottle, nipple, ring, cap, and any other parts
Rinse all parts with clean water immediately after use
Wash all parts in hot, soapy water
Use a clean bottle brush to scrub bottles and nipples
Rinse all parts well to remove all soap
Sterilize using boiling water, steam sterilizer, or microwave sterilizer according to the manufacturer’s instructions
If boiling, fully submerge all parts in water and boil for 5 minutes
If using a steam sterilizer, follow the device instructions exactly
If using a microwave sterilizer, add the correct amount of water and follow the instructions exactly
Remove parts carefully with clean tongs or clean hands
Place all parts on a clean, dry rack or clean paper towel to air-dry
Reassemble only after all parts are completely dry
Store sterilized bottles in a clean, covered container or clean area
Re-sterilize bottles if they are not used promptly after drying
Sterilize new bottles before first use
Sterilize bottles regularly for infants, especially if recommended by a healthcare professional
Replace bottles or nipples that are cracked, worn, or damaged
