Talk to the event NPC again in case it was not claimed
Check your mailbox if the present was sent there
Look in your gift box or special event inventory
Verify whether the present was automatically opened
Check all character accounts if you use multiple characters
Search your party and held items if it was a usable gift
Review recent trades if the present may have been traded away
Check the GTL if it was listed by mistake
Ask nearby players or guild members if you dropped it in chat or trade
Revisit the event location for any missed pickup
