Open Excel and enter your data in two columns
Put the X values in one column
Put the Y values in the next column
Select both columns of data
Click the Insert tab
Click Scatter in the Charts group
Choose the scatter plot style you want
Add chart title, axis titles, or labels if needed
Format the chart if desired
Save your workbook
