Open the Word document
Go to the Design tab
Select Watermark
Click Remove Watermark
If needed, double-click the header area
Select the watermark text or image
Press Delete
If the watermark is in a header or footer, edit the header or footer and remove it there
If the document has multiple sections, repeat the removal in each section
Save the document
