Quit the app if it is open
Force quit the app from Activity Monitor
Restart your Mac and try deleting it again
Drag the app from the Applications folder to the Trash
Empty the Trash
Use Launchpad and hold Option until apps jiggle, then click the delete button if available
Check for an uninstaller inside the app’s folder
Look in the app’s package contents for a built-in uninstaller
Remove related files from Library folders
Delete support files in:
`~/Library/Application Support`
`~/Library/Preferences`
`~/Library/Caches`
`~/Library/LaunchAgents`
`/Library/Application Support`
`/Library/LaunchAgents`
`/Library/LaunchDaemons`
Remove the app using Terminal with `sudo rm -rf`
Unlock the app or folder in Finder if it is locked
Change file permissions to allow deletion
Disable System Integrity Protection only if absolutely necessary
Use a third-party app uninstaller
Check whether the app was installed by the Mac App Store and remove it from Launchpad
Sign out and back into your Mac if deletion is blocked
Boot into Safe Mode and delete the app
Reinstall the app first, then uninstall it properly
Contact the app developer for a removal tool
