If you did not receive the code, request a new one through your USCIS online account

Use USCIS online chat or Emma to ask about your access code
Check your mailing address on file to make sure USCIS sent the code to the correct address
Wait for the code if your case was recently filed, since it may arrive separately from the receipt notice
