Confirm the transmission supports mobile tuning through an app, Bluetooth module, or Wi-Fi interface
Install the manufacturer’s tuning app on the mobile device
Update the app, firmware, and mobile operating system if required
Connect the mobile device to the transmission interface
Pair the device using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a USB adapter as instructed by the manufacturer
Turn the ignition on and keep the engine in the required state for tuning
Open the tuning app and log in if needed
Read and save the current transmission calibration
Check the available tune files, maps, or parameters
Select the desired tuning profile or custom settings
Adjust shift points, shift firmness, line pressure, torque management, or converter lockup settings as supported
Save the modified calibration
Write or flash the new tune to the transmission control module
Wait for the upload to complete without disconnecting the device
Verify that the app reports a successful flash
Clear any diagnostic trouble codes if required
Perform a test drive and monitor shift quality, temperatures, and fault codes
Reconnect to the app and make further adjustments if needed
Restore the original calibration if the new tune causes issues
Follow all manufacturer limits and safety requirements during tuning
